I am deeply mindful of our tiny little boy tonight, who we lost so suddenly this past June.
I am fully aware that he probably cannot hear what I am about to say, so I will send it up to Jesus with a tiny hug and kiss. Happy Valentine's Day little star.

I just love you with all my heart, we do.

Hello big wide world and welcome to the very first day of my all new blog revealing personal insights and other general information, which I humbly dub:
The Claire de Lune.

This being my first evening as a blogger, and an admitted private sort of type, this sharing and daily outpouring of my thoughts and feelings will be very new for me, blogwise anyway.

In the recent past I had a few blogs, what-seemed-like-blogs, semi-blogs, that kind of thing, but they never quite worked out for me.

The heavenly being to the left is one dear to me, and one of my very favorite pieces of art done by one of my favorite artists. Frankly, every time I see this painted reproduction there is just something about her that reminds me of myself. I don't look exactly like her so much; I suppose it is just an internal quality. I enjoy the colors in the piece as well. In any event , she is a good representation of the spirit and mindset of this website. And, since you are going to be reading posts here at a Christian author's blog, I felt she might be a good idea to have around.

Not unlike my site's angel, I also have a song, which is a melody that is very close to my heart. The title of the song is "Claire de Lune", the third movement from "Suite Bergamase" by Claude Debussy. I become extremely moved whenever this piece of music plays, and I consider it one, for other personal reasons, one of my signature songs. And so, the story of this blog's name, and a bit about its theme.

Other information you can surely glean by coming by to read this site daily. I can't promise you, unlike paid writers, that I will be filling up this screen every single day. But, I can assure you, that when you visit here, you will be getting sincere insights, views, and opinions that come from a person who cares. In addition, I will make every effort to update it daily or often as I can.

In closing, one might think from some of my personal info. stated here that I am quite a bit older than my (true) age. What with Edwardian art pieces and turn-of-the-century songs floating about, and the added factor of my saying on my bio here that I was born in "1908".

I am an honest person, and will not tell a lie. Since this place requires that space filled, I will confess, I was not born in 1908.

As for other personal tidbits, these I cannot promise. But the reader is always welcome to think the very best as he or she reads these lines.
